A team from Mero Agro Pvt. Ltd. conducted a trial demonstration of #GrainPro’s Collapsible Dryer Case (CDC) II pictured above at Krishak Jagaran Krishi Sahakari Sanstha at Okhreni, Ramechhap.

The cooperative members and locals were orientated about CDC II’s innovative fast heat absorbing-retaining capacity through its woven coated polyethylene, which is twice stronger than ordinary tarpaulin. Using solar energy, it offers the most simple and economical drying of agricultural commodities.

One of the highlights of CDC II is its protection from rainfall and moisture absorption. The locals were quite fascinated by the idea of protecting the dried agricultural grains and seed from sudden rainfall by covering the CDC II using pulling straps and further with heavy duty zipper.
